The Wellness Laboratory Testing program

 is a tool for patients to both manage

 and monitor their own health.

Testing is offered from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.  No appointment  is necessary.

A physician’s order is not required for Wellness testing, so there is no need to stop at the Admissions desk – you can go directly to the laboratory for testing.

Results are sent directly to you, generally within one week of specimen collection, with a brief explanation sheet.  Results are not sent to your Medical Record, or to your primary care provider.  You must take responsibility for the follow-up of any abnormal test results.

Insurance does not cover Wellness tests, therefore will not be billed to Medicare, Medicaid or commercial insurance.  Payment must be made at the time of service by check, cash or credit card.   Cost of test ranges from $10 - $45.

• Hematology (anemia/infections)
• Glucose (diabetes)
• Cholesterol
• Liver function
• Potassium
• Thyroid
• PSA
• Blood Type
• Chemistry (diabetes, liver, kidney, gout, osteoporosis, nutritional status)

Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
