Nutritional Services
Floyd County Medical Center's registered dietitian is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Consultation and instruction is provided for inpatients that are on a therapeutic diet or have special nutritional needs. Individualized counseling for outpatients range from developing dietary plans for diabetes, weight loss, weight gain, balanced, special diets such as low sodium, high/low fiber, cholesterol management, etc., and can be provided if ordered by your physician.

Meals on Wheels
- Residents of Charles City can enjoy a nutritious and delicious lunch delivered to their homes Monday - Saturday. Delivery service is provided by a wonderful group of volunteers from our local churches and civic organizations.
- We offer several menu options to choose from, and do our best to meet the nutritional needs of our clients through therapeutic diet plans.
- Families who do not live in the area can be assured that if a delivery is not made to a clients of Meals on Wheels, a follow up phone call or visit will be made to verify the well-being of the client.
