Visitor Information
Tobacco Free Campus
Floyd County Medical Center is a tobacco-free campus.
Visiting Guidelines
Although rest during a hospital stay is vital to recovery, we believe that visitors are also good medicine. At Floyd County Medical Center, we strive to provide a supportive and welcoming environment for each patient and their friends and family.
In consideration of our patient's health, people with colds or upper respiratory infections should postpone their visit until feeling better.
Flowers and mail will be delivered to patients as they arrive. Anything received after the patient has been discharged will be forwarded to their home address.
Cafeteria
Visitors are invited to dine in the Medical Center's cafeteria located on the 1st floor just off the front lobby. Continental breakfast is available from 6 am - 11 am. Lunch is available from 11 am - 1 pm, and dinner from 5 pm - 6:30 pm. You can request a guest tray (price is $4.50) to be brought up to a patient room by calling extension 185, or you may bring a tray up from the cafeteria.
Gift Shop
The FCMC gift shop is managed and staffed by the Floyd County Medical Center Auxiliary. The gift shop carries a nice line of gift items including plush animals, exclusive cards, candles, and snacks.
