About the Floyd County Medical Center
Floyd County Medical Center is a critical access hospital and rural health clinic providing healthcare services to the residents of the region. On January 17, 1965 the hospital opened on its current campus after a vote by Floyd County residents to transition and expand operations. Floyd County Medical Center does not receive direct tax support from Floyd County residents, while the majority of Iowa’s critical access hospitals do receive tax revenue.
The Floyd County Medical Center Foundation Fund ensures all donations are permanent, and local healthcare is available for our grandchildren and their grandchildren into the future – a wonderful legacy for all donors
Your Gift Will Keep on Giving
Because the Floyd County Medical Center Foundation Fund is a permanent fund with the Community Foundation, the donated dollars are invested, and only the income from the fund will be used by the Medical Center. Your contribution will help carry out the mission of the Floyd County Medical Center Foundation now, and forever. To learn more about this fund, contact the Community Foundation at 319-287-9106 or [email protected].
