Floyd County Medical Center is happy to welcome our new Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, Jill Connell. She has 30 years of experience in the medical field and has taken on many roles including working at Mitchell County Regional Health Center as the Director of the Acute Care Services and most recently as the Advanced Registered Family Nurse Practitioner for the Community Health Center of Mason City. Jill is also a familiar face at the Floyd County Medical Center and Clinic. Jill worked as a Nursing Instructor for NIACC and brought many nursing students to our hospital. She completed her Nurse Practitioner student clinical rotations at the clinic with Jodi Heyer, PA-C.
Jill is an active member of the Charles City Community and St. John Lutheran Church. She is active with several animal rescue groups in the area. She enjoys outdoor activities, including running, hiking, and bicycling and participates in RAGBRAI every year. Jill loves spending time with her family including her four children Regan, Gavin, Lauren, and Kiki and her four-legged “child” Bo, her adopted rescue pup. Jill is excited about her new position with Floyd County Medical Center Clinic which started on February 1, 2022. We are thrilled to have Jill be part of our FCMC family.
