Construction Manager at Risk
Floyd County Medical Center (FCMC) is requesting qualifications for Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR). The request for qualifications is part of a competitive selection process to eventually engage a CMaR firm to provide services for the construction of a Rural Health Clinic (RHC) expansion to Floyd County Medical Center along with a hospital expansion in adjacent spaces to the clinic.
FCMC has procured the services of Accord Architecture Company to provide professional services for the design of this project. A copy of the most recent site plan, floor plans, and exterior elevations are included as Attachment A. Only the drawings in Attachment A will be provided during the CMaR Request for Qualifications process. The project has recently completed the Schematic Design (SD) phase and will begin the Design Development (DD) phase in mid-July, 2023.
FCMC is in the process of securing funding for this project with the USDA-Rural Development. Commencement of this project is dependent on the timing of securing financing. Owner is hopeful for a construction start date of April 2024.
