Floyd County Medical Center is happy to announce our new Radiology Director, Joanie Behnke, who started her position on January 24, 2022. Joanie comes to us well experienced having previously worked at Waverly Health Center and has 20+ years of radiology experience. She is Radiologic Technologist Certified, Bone Density Certified, Computed Tomography (CT) Certified, and Mammography Certified. Joanie has a passion for helping others and is also a member of the Greene Ambulance Service as the Assistant Crew Chief. Joanie also teaches CPR for the ambulance crew and firefighters.
Joanie lives in Greene with her husband Ryan. Their two children Bentley 9 and Briley 4, keep them busy with wrestling and dance practice. They enjoy family time fishing and camping and playing with their dog Moxon. Joanie also enjoys reading a good book. Joanie is excited to start her new role at Floyd County Medical Center and we know she will be a great addition to our FCMC Family.
