Patients & Visitors

Tobacco Free Campus

Floyd County Medical Center is a tobacco-free campus.

Visiting Guidelines

Although rest during a hospital stay is vital to recovery, we believe that visitors are also good medicine. At Floyd County Medical Center, we strive to provide a supportive and welcoming environment for each patient and their friends and family.

In consideration of our patient’s health, people with colds or upper respiratory infections should postpone their visit until feeling better.

Flowers and mail will be delivered to patients as they arrive. Anything received after the patient has been discharged will be forwarded to their home address.

*Due to COVID-19 visitor restrictions are in place. The most up-to-date visitor policy can be found on our homepage by clicking on the COVID-19 Alert at the top of the page.

Cafeteria

Visitors are invited to dine in the Medical Center’s cafeteria located on the 1st floor just off the front lobby. Continental breakfast is available from 6:00 a. m. to 11:00 a. m. Lunch is available from 11:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m., and dinner from 5:00 p. m. to 6:30 p. m.
