American Heart Association Online Courses
The American Heart Association (AHA) offers a variety of courses ON-LINE http://onlineaha.org/courses. The following courses are available on-line; skills practice and test-outs may be completed at FCMC.

Adult First Aid Class
The American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid class is offered to groups of five or more and may be scheduled throughout the year. The cost for the two-hour course is $55 per person, workbook and e-card included.

The American Heart Association Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid class is offered to groups of five or more and may be scheduled throughout the year. Cost for the two-hour course is $55 per person, workbook and e-card included.

The American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR class is offered to groups of five or more and may be scheduled throughout the year. Cost for the two-hour course is $60 per person, workbook and e-card included.

American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training is offered each year in early June. This course is designed for boys and girls 11 to 15 years old.

Couples interested in learning more about pregnancy, childbirth, and infant care are encouraged to attend any of the following classes. All classes are taught by experienced OB nurses.
More InformationBasic Life Support (BLS) Class
The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) class is offered to groups of five or more and may be scheduled throughout the year. The cost of the two-hour course is $80 per person (workbook and E-card included). The course is designed for healthcare professionals who need BLS training to perform their clinical duties. Topics include:
- Chains of Survival
- High-quality CPR for adult, child and infant
- Using an AED
- Team dynamics in a multi rescuer resuscitation
- Relief of choking for adult, child and infant
