First Aid Class Information
The American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid class is offered to groups of five or more and may be scheduled throughout the year. The cost for the two-hour course is $55 per person – workbook and e-card included.
This course is designed for people with no medical background and certifies the individual in how to manage illnesses and injuries across the lifespan (children and adults) in the first few minutes of an emergency until professional help arrives. Topics include first aid basics, personal protection, medical emergencies, injury emergencies (including bandaging and splinting), and environmental emergencies. Re-certification is recommended every two years.
